CHILDREN pulled out all the stops to stage a spectacular show in just two weeks.

Youngsters attended Megastars Performing Arts School’s Peter Pan summer school at St Basil’s Club on Hough Green Road in Widnes.

Principal Sharon Denmade-Neeves said: “They were an amazing bunch of children and young adults.

“They all worked so hard whilst having a fab time. They all deserve to be recognised.”

Every child gained an insight into how to put on a show.

Sharon said: “They did workshops in acting, singing and song writing, dancing and choreography, scenery and set making, costume, hair and theatrical make up designing, along with ticket and programme design and production.”

Dance teacher Emily Roberts coached the youngsters with help from some parents.

To celebrate the end of the summer school the children enjoyed a trip to Gulliver’s World.

Megastars Performing Arts School re-opens on Monday.

“We are a small, fun, friendly place where you can learn to dance, act, sing and do acrobatic skills whilst developing confidence and making new friends,” added Sharon.

Classes are held on week nights during school term time at St Basil's Club.
