IT IS set to be a bumper Halloween for Hampshire residents as one theme park announces its frightfully fun-filled lineup.

This October Paultons Park, in Ower, will be going all spooky for the holiday, covering itself in decorations which include more than 1,500 pumpkins.

From October 8, the park will become home to classic Halloween characters including mischievous skeletons and pumpkins, as well as a giant witches’ cauldron for little monsters to climb into and have their picture taken.

And there are still more surprises in store as the Paultons Park carousel becomes less familiar with spooky Halloween tunes accompanying the ride.

Find The Little Monsters Ball at the Show Stage running at intervals throughout the day to be entertained by a thrilling theatrical production, and later bust some monster moves to spooky tunes with the performers.

Alongside these eerie events, Paultons Park - home of Peppa Pig World, is encouraging its little visitors to dress in their creepiest costumes and participate in the Freaky Fancy Dress Competition. For a chance to impress the judges and win a prize, children are asked to wear their best disguise and attend the daily judging at the Show Stage from 3pm for children aged five years and under, or 3.30pm for children over five years old.

All of the parks’ 70 rides and attractions are open as usual throughout this period so families will still be able to enjoy all areas of the park including Jurassic-themed attraction, Lost Kingdom and Peppa Pig World.
