A CAR burst into flames and closed a road in a Hampshire town.
Firefighters spent an hour battling a flaming vehicle on Commercial Road in Totton on Friday night.
One crew from Redbridge and one from Totton were called to the scene at 10.28pm.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that 75 per cent of the car was destroyed by the fire but no-one was injured.
The door of a nearby property was also damaged in the incident.
The crews left at 11.34pm.
