AFC TOTTON have signed young 6ft 2in Aldershot Town centre-back Jack Barker on a dual registration.
The 17-year-old, previously on loan at Fareham Town, boosts a Stags squad which has been hit injury, suspension and Stuart Mott’s return to the army.
It’s not the first time Totton have loaned a budding, young talent from the Shots and boss Louis Langdown said: “If Jack does as well for us as Matt Bozier did last season then we will be delighted.”
Barker’s arrival gives the Stags a timely boost as they head into Saturday’s Evo-Stik South West game against Yate Town at their newly-named Total Branding Community Stadium (3pm).
