WALLETS, cash and electricals have been stolen from cars in a spate of thefts.

Hampshire Constabulary is warning drivers in Chandler's Ford and Hedge End to lock their vehicles and not to leave valuables inside.

Police say some of the vehicles had not been secured, allowing thieves easy access.

The vehicles that were involved were:

- A Ford Van where various tools were stolen on Surrey Road in Chandler's Ford between 7pm on Tuesday, September 5 and 6am on Wednesday, September 6 (crime reference: 44170345051)

- A Ford Transit where power tools were taken on Hursley Road in Chandler's Ford between 7pm on Tuesday, September 5 and 6.30am on Wednesday, September 6 (crime reference: 44170345044)

- six Vauxhall Vivaro vans where various dash cams and sat nav were stolen at an industrial site on Eagle Close in Chandler's Ford between 6pm on Tuesday, September 5 and 7.05am on Wednesday, September 6. Damage was also caused to the passenger windows (crime reference: 44170345031)

- A Renault Kangoo where a wallet was stolen on Warner Close in Hedge End between 9pm on Monday, September 4 and 7am on Tuesday, September 5 (crime reference: 44170344438)

- A Mercedes where a wallet was stolen on Warner Close in Hedge End between 9pm on Monday, September 4 and 9.30am on Tuesday, September 5. (crime reference: 44170343770)

- A Ford Galaxy where a torch was stolen on Churchward Gardens in Hedge End between midnight and 8am on Tuesday, September 5.

A Ford Focus where a Sat nav and phone charger was taken on Wellstead Way in Hedge End between 2pm on Monday, September 4 and 10.30am on Tuesday, September 5. (Crime Reference: 44170343915)

- A Mercedes where a small amount of cash stolen on Collett Close between 10pm on Monday, September 4 and 9am on Tuesday, September 5. (crime reference: 44170343824)
