Catalyst Science Discovery Centre provides opportunities for people to explore the history of soap making with local historian and Catalyst trustee Dr Diana Leitch MBE and take a guided walk with Catalyst trustee Bob Roach.
Families can ride restored trains on the miniature railway in Runcorn.
Guided walks and tours are being held at All Saints’ Church and The Lewis Carroll Centre were visitors can discover the life and times of the man behind the classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Halton’s historic churches including St Mary’s and St Luke’s are hosting open days and guided walks.
St Marie’s is holding an evening of favourite hymns.
Family history days and children’s activites are being held at Widnes and Halton Lea libraries.
