THE following cases were recently heard at magistrates’ court:

Shane Hunt, 24, of Taranto Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving through a red light on The Causeway, Totton. Fined £230. Ordered to pay £175 costs, a £30 victim surcharge and driving record endorsed with three points.

Felix Onwordi, 23, of Gloucester Square, Southampton. Found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver. Fined £242. Ordered to pay £300 costs and £30 victim surcharge. Licence also endorsed with six points.

Andrew Botting, 39, of Highdown Lane, Surrey. Pleaded guilty to stealing washing powder and cans of alcohol belonging to Sainsbury’s. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

Nigel Roe, 34, of HM Prison, Winchester. Pleaded guilty to stealing four bottles of Martini belonging to Southern Co-operative. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

Jamie Davidson, 26, of Wraxall Close, Poole. Pleaded guilty to entering the playing field at St Mary’s Stadium. Fined £450. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £45 victim surcharge.

Daniel Hallett, 31, of Storey Street, London. Pleaded guilty to entering the playing field at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton. Fined £450. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £45 victim surcharge.

Simon Betteridge, 25, of Ellwood Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damaging another vehicle without leaving details of how to contact him and failing to stop after damaging a vehicle. Fined £450. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £45 victim surcharge.

Christopher Laird, 49, of Elizabeth Close, West End. Pleaded guilty to assaulting constables Christopher Dodd and Laura Turner. Also pleaded guilty to being found in possession of cocaine. Discharged conditionally. Ordered to pay £200 compensation and £85 victim surcharge.

Marin Rafaila, 36, of Derby Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £500. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £50 victim surcharge. Licence endorsed with 10 points.

Laura Rodman, 22, of Studland Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing £134 Rayban Sunglasses from John Lewis. Community order made.

Nikki Davis, 46, of Redbridge Hill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to being found in possession of amphetamine. Fined £300 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

Shane Kingston, 42, of Barberry Drive, Totton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting Naomi Lynch and Cathryn Dyer by beating. Committed to prison three months, suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay £400 compensation and £85 costs.

Lewis Richards, 23, of Warren Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to using threatening language and behaviour. Community order made due to offence being racially aggravated. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

Martine Young, 36, of Teme Crescent, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide specimens of breath for analysis. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £440 victim surcharge.
