WITH its all-star cast gathered for a local media launch Jack and the Beanstalk looks set for dazzling success at Bournemouth Pavilion.

S Club 7’s Rachel Stevens will star as Fairy Sweet Pea, while Holby City’s Mark Moraghan plays villain Fleshcreep and Milkshake! presenter Derek Moran takes the stage as Jack.

This year’s show will also star Jamie Steen as Dame Trott and welcomes the return of Noel Brodie as Simple Simon.

With starring roles in Brookside, Holby City, Coronation Street and, as of this year, Emmerdale, it’s safe to say that Mark Moraghan is a TV soap regular. Mark is no stranger to the stage either; most recently starring as Abanazar in Aladdin at Blackpool’s The Grand Theatre over Christmas 2016.

Widely known as one seventh of Brit Award winning pop band S Club 7, Rachel Stevens is a household name. Most recently appearing as a contestant on Celebrity Masterchef alongside the likes of Urika Jonsson and Lesley Garrett, Jack and the Beanstalk will be Rachel’s pantomime debut.

The matinee performance on Saturday 9 December will be a British Sign Language Interpreted performance by Wendy Ebsworth MBE. This year’s relaxed performance will be on Wednesday 13 December at 10:00am. Patrons will be free to move around during the relaxed performance and can take time out in a quiet area outside of the theatre auditorium.

The panto runs from December 2 to January 1.
