ENGLAND women's football manager Mark Sampson is set to leave his position following new misconduct allegations against him.

Sampson, who took over the side in 2013, was in charge of the team when they beat Russia 6-0 in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.

Initially, Chelsea forward Eniola Aluko accused him of discrimination but Samspon was cleared of wrongdoing by two investigations and denies the allegations.

It remains unclear the exact reason for his departure but the FA is expected to confirm the new later this afternoon.
