A SOUTHAMPTON road is closed after a tree reportedly fell on a house.
Residents say the incident happened on Cobden Avenue at about 7.45am this morning and pictures show an enormous tree lying in the road.
The Daily Echo understands that the tree is a Monterey Pine and is about 32 metres long and weighs between eight and ten tons.
It is not known if anyone has been hurt.
