BRAZEN burglars used a tall plant pot to climb onto a roof and raid a home of jewellery and cash.

The burglars used the outdoor vase to clamber onto a conservatory in Moorgreen Road, West End, on Monday.

From there, they accessed the master bedroom window using an open port window to get into a larger window.

Cash and jewellery were then stolen from the property.

It is believed the burglars struck sometime between 7.40am and 12noon.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have private CCTV or dash cam footage in the area at the time.

They are also reporting that a dog may have barked when the offenders went downstairs.
