A TEAM of Southampton solicitors have raised more than £1,500 after running the Winchester half marathon.
Staff from law firm Trethowans, with colleagues from both the city and Poole offices, laced up and took to the streets to tackle the 13.1-mile course in aid of The Joe Glover Trust.
One of its dedicated charities, the teams raised a total of £1,551 for the charity that offers support to children and families with cancer around the area. Having initially set out to raise £800, the team of ten raised almost double at the race last Sunday.
Kelvin Farmaner, partner and head of Trethowans’ dispute resolution group said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have surpassed our goal for such a worthy charity. The run itself was tough but it was great to be involved in such an exciting event, hard on the heels of opening our Winchester office recently.”
