A CRASH is causing delays on a busy Southampton road.
The incident happened on Northam Road, near the junction with Union Road, at about 11am.
Emergency services are at the scene and there is traffic in the area.
It is not known if anyone has been hurt in the crash, although a spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue confirmed one person had been trapped.
A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 10.45am to a two vehicle collision at the junction with Union Road.
"A Peugeot and a Mercedes were involved, and the road had been partially blocked."
