Court cases at Southampton Magistrates Court on September 15:

  • Jane Charlotte Godden, 45, of Manor Farm Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and failing to surrender to court. Community order made and fined £150. Curfew put in place between 9pm and 6am, and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 18 months. Jane Charlotte Godden Also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. Fined £100.
  • Gregory Matthew Williams, 28, of Summit Way, Southampton. Found guilty of assault by beating. Given a 24-months conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £150 costs.
  • Zita Maria Aqib-Buland, 57, of Manley Road, Bursledon. Found guilty of failing to notify Eastleigh Borough Council of a change of circumstance which would affect entitlement to housing benefit and failing to surrender to custody. Community order made and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £620 costs.
  • Saphia Nuhad Wallaya, 25, of Dutton Lane, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with five points.
  • James Thomas Peter Mark Sibley, 35, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from retail stores totalling £161.50, breaching a community order. Community order made and ordered to pay £161.50 compensation.
  • Callum Bryan Hickman, 18, of Princes Court, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damaging the entrance lights to the West Cliff Inn, Bournemouth, and anti-social behaviour on August 23. Also pleaded guilty to racially aggravated disorderly behaviour and anti-social behaviour on August 24 and two cases of assault. Also pleaded guilty to assault on August 6. Given a 24-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months, ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £190 compensation and £45 costs.
  • Julian Alexander Edward Rutkowski, 44, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order, assault, and driving while disqualified. Given a 16-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work.
  • Dean Smith, 40, of Waldegrave Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £33 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30. Driving licence endorsed with three points.
  • Paul John Richard Cruickshank, 43, of Cobbett Road, Southampton. Admitted breach of community order by failing to attend unpaid work. Community order to continue and ordered to carry out a further ten hours of unpaid work and pay £60 costs.
  • Harry Junior Paul Edwards, 32, of Belmont Road, Southampton. Admitted breach of community order by failing to attend an office appointment. Community order to continue and ordered to pay £60 costs.
  • Nicol Kevern, 40, of Bernwood Grove, Blackfield. Admitted breach of community order by failing to attend office appointment. Community order to continue and fined £50. Ordered to pay £50 costs.

Cases heard at Southampton magistrates on September 27 include:

  • Amelie Pauquet, 32, of Ashley Road, New Milton. Pleaded guilty to two counts of speeding. Fined £130 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points and disqualified from driving for six months.
  • Scott Rumbold, 45, of Seymour Close, Southampton. Found guilty of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. Given a two-year conditional discharge and a restraining order made in regards to the defendant. Ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £400 costs.
  • Robert James Lane, 46, of Mary Drake Close, Holbury. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £350 and ordered to pay £35 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 14 months.
  • Dean Michael Lee Sheppard, 20, of Warwick Close, Salisbury. Pleaded guilty to fishing without a licence, fishing out of season and obstructing two constables in the execution of their duty. Fined £240 and ordered to pay £100 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
