A CARE company that provides homes to people cross the South of Hampshire has raised thousands of pounds for Cancer Research

Family-owned business, Hartford Care announced Cancer Research as their charity of the year last April and completed their fundraising period by presenting the charity with a cheque for £7,700.

The head office team have been fundraising by taking part in everything from bike rides, to sponsored walks and car washes.

The cheque presentation took part at their Laurels & Pine Lodge home in Poole and was handed to representation, Shelley by CEO, Sean Gavin.

Hartford Care say they are extremely proud to present the cheque to Cancer Research and would like to thank all the kind individuals that donated to their fundraising events throughout the group.

They have now announced their Charity of the Year for 2017 which will be The Care Workers Charity, supporting people working in the care industry that may have fallen on hard times.
