A DRIVER who took a car without the owner’s consent and stole a bicycle has been put behind bars.
Andrew Oliver Cox, 31, of Hood Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to taking a Ford Focus without the owner’s consent and driving it without a licence or insurance in July, and stealing a bike later that month.
Cox admitted breaching a conditional discharge with the offences and was put behind bars for 12 weeks as well as being ordered to pay £20 compensation.
