THE home of Widnes rugby is inspiring people to embark on exciting new careers.
The Vikings Learning Centre has already helped many unemployed people to improve their skills and fulfil their potential.

The centre, which is delivered in partnership with Riverside College, supports people who are out of work, education or training to develop a job-ready future. 
The education provider was highly commended at the 2017 Festival of Learning and has a 100 per cent pass rate across all courses.

The centre specialises in supporting people who have experienced challenges in finding or sustaining work and education. 
With small class sizes and specialist tutoring focussed on each learners’ individual needs, it offers a uniquely supportive approach. 
The centre is currently offering a number of free courses in sport and employability, specially designed for people aged 16-18, as well as a an employability skills course for young adults aged 19 and over. 
For people who aren’t able to commit to full-time education, it also offers a number of short courses. 
By studying in the Halton Stadium, students enjoy a unique environment to build their skills and enjoy new experiences – from developing sports and coaching skills on the i-pitch, through to gaining work experience with the club. 
These courses do not require any knowledge of or interest in rugby league.
