A MAN who ran up more than £1,000 worth of money on his victim’s bank card has avoided jail.
Stuart Poole stole a Barclays bank card from longstanding friend Lisa Grant between March 9 and 12, 2017.
The 56 year old committed fraud by pretending the card belonged to him and spent £1400 of money belonging to Ms Grant.
The offences were whilst he was on conditional discharge from another offence, in which he was charged in 2016 for being in possession of amphetamine.
Poole, of Blenheim Road, Eastleigh, was sentenced to 16 weeks imprisonment, suspended for two years.
He was ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.
