Most of the match was dull and uninspiring.
There was however one moment of genius from Sofiane Boufal who made it a memorable night for Saints fans who braved Storm Brian to watch an otherwise completely turgid football match.
The Moroccan started in his own half, weaved past three or four defenders before curling sweetly in to the bottom right of the goal to win it for Saints on 85 minutes.
Nothing else is worth talking about from this game. It was a sensational goal. Bravo, Sofiane.
