WARREN Bentley’s happy scoring knack continues.

The former Winchester City and Alresford marksman helped himself to a hat-trick as Poole Town triumphed 4-0 at Eastbourne Borough in the Vanarama National League South, their biggest win of the season.

“Warren’s one of the best finishers I’ve seen at this level,” said Dolphins boss Tom Killick – no mean compliment from a man who helped Charlie Austin on his way to the Premier League.

Steve Devlin was also on target for Poole with superbly struck free-kick.

*GOSPORT Borough boss Mick Catlin reckoned his side had “wasted an opportunity” to break their Evo-Stik South Premier duck at home to ten-man St Neots Town.

Trailing to a first-half penalty, Borough had several nailed-on chances after Kyron Wiltshire was sent off for the visitors midway through the second half for a hefty challenge on Harry Medway.

But Iffy Onwauchwu and Matt Sinclair were unable to capitalise as Borough sank to their 15th league defeat of the season, keeping them nailed to the foot of the table with just one point.

The game was decided on 12 minutes when Eddie Wakely brought down Dion Sembie-Ferris, inviting Dylan Williams to strike from the spot.
