A MAN was struck in the face with a glass during a fracas in a Runcorn pub.
The 24-year-old was involved in a disturbance with another man at The Royal Hotel on High Street, Runcorn.
During the incident the victim was hit in the face with a glass and sustained a number of facial wounds.
He was taken to Warrington Hospital and has since been discharged.
The incident happened shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, November 11.
Officers from Runcorn Local Policing Unit are appealing for information Sergeant Steve Watson said: “Investigations in relation to this incident are ongoing and we are currently following a number of lines of enquiry.
“As part of this I am also keen to hear from anyone who believes that they may have witnessed the incident or anyone who believes that they may have seen anything suspicious.”
Anyone with any information that could assist the investigation should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1050 of 11/11/2017.
