Southampton's snowsports centre is throwing open its doors - and its slopes - free for 24 hours in aid of Children in Need.
Active Nation, who run Southampton’s sports and leisure facilities on behalf of Southampton City Council, wants to visitors to help ski, snowboard or donut 1,000km before midnight tomorrow night.
From midnight tonight, you can book a slot on the slopes at the Alpine Snowsports Centre in Thornhill Road in return for a donation to the charity.
Alpine manager Clive Marshall said: “This a great opportunity for Southampton to have a go at Snowsports and help our charity Active Nation support and raise funds for Children in Need.
"The challenge is open to all abilities and anyone from 4 years of age can get active, have some fun and help us towards our target, all sessions are free of charge all we ask is that you make a donation on the day.”
