The ambulance and car after the crash on the Marchwood bypass
AN ambulance and a car crashed on a busy Hampshire commuter route - just metres from the incident they were attending.
The accident happened on the A326 Marchwood bypass southbound, just after 8am this morning, south of Rushington roundabout.
The ambulance, which was heading to another crash on the other side of the bypass, smashed into another vehicle just as it approached the scene.
Police then attended the two incidents and transported the vehicles away.
It is not known if anyone was injured.
