Southampton Common
POLICE descended on Southampton Common yesterday looking for two people.
But they say the incident, which witnesses say involved a police helicopter, was an "innocent false alarm".
The search took place at around 10.30am on Saturday, November 18.
A police spokesperson said it involved "a couple of people walking through the Common".
However the police are unable to give anymore details at this time.
