TWO HOMES were evacuated after a fire in the early hours of this morning in Peartree.
Emergency services rushed to a fire in Athelstan Road, at the junction of Bitterne Way, at around 5.36am.
Decking between the two homes had caught fire.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue said the two properties were evacuated but nobody was injured in the incident.
Two high pressure hose reels were used to tackle the blaze.
