A HAMPSHIRE supermarket is the latest to undergo a £500,000 makeover to bring in new check-outs, signs and LED lights.
Iceland in Locks Heath will be the second county store to reopen within a week after the Bitterne store underwent the same transformation.
The new store, which opens tomorrow, features digital signage, LED lights and improved in-store navigation - and it now also offers chilled champagne and craft ales.
Neil Hayes, Iceland's merchandising and format development director said: "Customers will also benefit from the introduction of new product ranges right across the store, from frozen and chilled food to fresh fruit and vegetables, food cupboard staples, and beers, wines and spirits."
It follows the Bitterne store to be remodelled after the success of the new concept started in Clapham last year, with 35 stores across the UK now adopting the new style.
