A SEASONAL music performance spanning the generations brought extra cheer to a Hampshire shopping centre.

Children from the Gregg School in Southampton, Singsational Voices and the Waterside Women’s Choir sung festive Christmas tunes at Westquay shopping centre on to raise money for the Breast Cancer Haven Wessex.

The charity offers free emotional, physical and practical support to anyone affected by breast cancer.

Heidi Rehman, community fundraiser at the charity, said: “The event was something to make people feel very festive at the shopping centre.

“We organised the day to raise awareness for the centre because its important that our community helps us support people affected by breast cancer.

“We have supported 700 people since opening.”
