THESE cases were recently heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court:

Toni Anne Moody, 24, of Alexander Square, Eastleigh. Found guilty of driving without due care and attention. Fined £300 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Callum Bryan Hickman, 18, of Princes Court, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a criminal behaviour order. Sentenced to two weeks in prison. Ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

Danut Vasile Arion, 31, of Potters Brook, Derby. Pleaded guilty to drink driving on Harbour Parade. Fined £500 and ordered to pay £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Peter Murray Brown, 48, of Paddock House, Cirencester. Pleaded guilty to failing to notify a change in entitlement to employment allowance due to being in work. Given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Adam Lee Rogers, 45, of Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Community order made and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 23 months.

Karen Teresa Bellows, 34, of Kilmeston Close, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to failing to notify Eastleigh Borough Council of a change in entitlement to housing benefit and employment support by being in work. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

Alex Michael O’Reilly, 22, of St Edwards Road, St Thomas, Southsea. Pleaded guilty to entering a Tesco warehouse with intent to steal. Community order made and curfew put in place from 8pm until 8am. Ordered to pay £85 costs.

Nathan John Clifft, 26, of Hinkler Road, Thornhill. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Community order made and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 23 months.

Cramer Bruce Evans, 54, of Grenville Gardens, Dibden Purlieu. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £240 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £135 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Robert Furmannek, 37, of Wesley Dean, High Wycombe. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Community order made and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £50 costs. Disqualified from driving for 23 months.

Nicolae Ghinea, 24, of Derby Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance. Ordered to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work, pay £85 victim surcharge, £50 costs and fined £50. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Lois Drayson, 25, of Old Salisbury Lane, Romsey. Pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of cannabis. Fined £150, a surcharge of £20 and costs of £80. The cannabis was forfeited and destroyed.

Nicholas Martin Stokes, 37, of Woolston Road, Netley Abbey. Pleaded guilty to causing harassment, alarm or distress, and admitted disorderly behaviour while drunk. Also pleaded guilty to stealing a charity box belonging to Ladbrokes. Community order made, fined £25, costs of £25 and surcharge of £85.

Rodney Victor Walker, 44, c/o Day Centre, Cranbury Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to taking a boat named Disco Fish without the consent of the owner. Community order made, fined £100, costs of £85, compensation of £20 and a surcharge of £85. Also admitted damaging a lock on a boat named Simba 2. Fined £10 and compensation of £20.

Jacek Rafal Czarnota, 35, of Highcliffe Avenue, Southampton. Found guilty of stealing foreign currency, a knife, jewellery a watch and other items from a dwelling. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for one year, and carry out unpaid work for 150 hours. Compensation of £100, surcharge of £115 and costs of £525. Also found guilty of having a six-inch lock knife in a public place. Committed to prison for six weeks consecutive to other offence, suspended for one year. Also pleaded guilty to possession of amphetamine. Fined £50.

Joe Mensah-Brenner, 21, of Burlington Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to having a kitchen knife and lock knife in a public place. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Carry out unpaid work for 150 hours. Surcharge of £115 and costs of £85.

Lee David Brickwood, 41, of Oatfield Gardens, Calmore. Pleaded guilty, having originally pleaded not guilty, to assault. Community order made. Costs of £50 and compensation of £100. Also pleaded guilty to a second assault and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Compensation of £50.
