He belongs to one of the world’s most famous pop families.

But Jimmy Osmond will be flying solo when he lands at Eastleigh’s Concorde later next year.

The Stoneham Lane club has announced that Jimmy Osmond’s 70’s Jukebox Show will be stopping off at Eastleigh on September 14 as part of his nationwide tour.

Last time the American star was at The Concorde he played to a full house with his brothers Merrill and Jay Osmond.

Although he will be on his lonesome this time Jimmy will still be showcasing those dance floor filling family hits including Love Me For A Reason, Crazy Horses, Let Me In, Going Home & The Proud One.

Jimmy will also perform a string of classic 70’s songs including Boogie Wonderland, YMCA, Staying Alive, Bye Bye Baby and You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.

Long Haired Lover from Liverpool was enough to give Jimmy a Christmas number one in the early seventies. He was then only nine and is still in the Guinness Book of Records for being the youngest performer to have a top single in the UK charts.

Jimmy’s showbiz career, which began when he was three, spans more than 50 years. He was the first in the Osmond family to receive a gold record at five years old.
