POLICE are appealing for the public's help to find a Hampshire man who went missing from a Dorset hospital.

Steven Morancini, 54, of Basingstoke in Hampshire, was reported missing by staff at Poole Hospital.

He first attended the hospital on Saturday, December 9, but disappeared and was reported missing at 11.07pm that evening.

He was located by officers near Bournemouth train station and taken back to hospital, but he left for a second time at 4.45pm on Sunday, December 10 in a confused state and has not been seen since.

Steven is described as white, five feet five inches tall and of medium build. He has brown hair that is shaved at the sides and stubble. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, black Nike trousers and brown shoes.

Police Inspector Simon Perry, of Dorset Police, said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Steven due to his apparent confused and vulnerable state at the time of his disappearance.

"I am releasing CCTV images of him that were taken while he was in the hospital waiting room. Anyone who has seen a man matching his description should contact Dorset Police urgently."
