AN APPEAL has been launched for a missing Hampshire teenager, who regularly visited Southampton.

James Laurie, 15, was reported missing on the evening of Wednesday, November 29.

He left his home in the St Thomas area of Portsmouth and hasn’t returned. He is also known to regularly visit Southampton.

Police are worried about James due to his age and the fact that he has not returned home now for two weeks.

Officers have been carrying out a whole range of enquiries since James was reported missing and there have been sightings of him in the Thornhill area of Southampton.

But police really need to know where he is and are asking for your help.

James is described as:

• White
• Slim to medium build
• Around 5ft 6ins tall
• Brown shoulder length hair which is often tied up
• A distinctive scar on his right cheek
