A main road in Southampton was closed after a serious accident.
Emergency crews were called to Northam Road at 2.39am following the accident involving two vehicles.
Police say the accident involved a Vauxhall Antara and a Renault Trafic van.
A 37-year-old man sustained minor injuries, and a man in his 60s sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Both have been taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision so we can establish the exact circumstances.
The crash, just south of the Northam Bridge, happened near the B3038 Britannia Road and Radcliffe Road and Prince's Street and Union Road.
As a result the road was closed just south of Northam Bridge to the Esso Garage.
The road reopened at 6.30am.
