POLICE are hunting this hooded man after a 'vehicle tampering' incident in Bursledon.
Officers say the man was spotted tampering with a van overnight on Friday, January 12.
He reportedly tried the door handles of the vehicle in Woolwich Close at around 1.20am.
The man later ran off towards a red 2003 Hyundai Getz with faded paintwork, joining two other men.
Police have described the first man, pictured, as white, stocky and aged between 20 and 30.
The other two men were both described as white, in their 20s and wearing dark clothing.
One of the men had bald or shaved hair, while the other was wearing a dark beanie hat.
