A VIDEO has emerged of a Hampshire MP "falling asleep" during a parliamentary debate.
New Forest West MP Desmond Swayne appeared to doze off as he listened to a speech on the EU Bill from his Conservative colleague Ken Clarke.
The short video was posted on Twitter by the BBC, who were covering the debate on their parliament channel.

The 58 second video starts with Mr Swayne beginning to lean his head to the side.
Leaning on his right hand, the MP keeps his comfortable pose for around 40 seconds, before quickly jerking his head upright.
Mr Swayne then lets out a smile, before the clip comes to an end.
