A MAN involved in a spate of driving offences has been jailed.

Anthony Kwaramba pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen after he was arrested on January 13.

He was caught driving without insurance and while disqualified on Granby Grove.

Southampton Magistrates’ Court heard that this meant the 36-year-old breached a suspended sentence order.

In February 2017, Kwaramba was sentenced to 24 weeks imprisonment, suspended for two years after he was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol and whilst disqualified in November 2016.

This sentence was activated and magistrates also sentenced him to a further 24 weeks in prison for the latest offences.

Kwaramba, of Whitelaw Road, Southampton, was ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for 16 months.
