ROMSEY’S first vegan fair has been crowned a tasty success.
After a similar event was held at Oceana in Southampton in the autumn, hundreds of foodies flocked to Crosfield Hall to sample goods and products.
The day featured speakers, nutritionists and stalls, organised by the Watkins family.
The vegan diet is the practice of abstaining from using and eating any animal products, such as meat and milk.
Amanda Watkins, 47, runs a vegan drinks company with the help of her husband Martin, 54, and their daughter Ruby, 21.
Amanda said: “The one thing we want to get across is that no-one is going to be judged.”
The family could now hold other festivals and events throughout the year, such as at lent.
