THE following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court:

JAY STOREY, 39, of Lodge Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing coins worth £360. Ordered to pay compensation of £360 and costs of £85. Also discharged conditionally for two years.

ANDREW JAMES PIKE, 29, of Aldermoor Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. Fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

TAHIRUL TARAFDAR, 23, of Mercer Way, Romsey. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, without insurance and for failing to provide a specimen of blood. Given a four-week prison sentence suspended for six months and ordered to undertake 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115, costs of £85 and disqualified from driving for two years.

KIRSTY C TAYLOR, 29, of Chambers Close, Nursling, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Also given three points on driving licence.

LORENA CHRISTINA TRICA, 19, of Belmont Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing clothing and goods worth £323.30 from Primark. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85. Also discharged conditionally for 18 months.

JAMIE GLASSPOOL, 44, of Graham Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing two bikes worth £900 from Southampton Central railway station. Ordered to pay compensation of £400 and discharged conditionally for 18 months.

SURAJ SINGH RATHOR, 35, of Glenwood Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Ordered to pay compensation of £200 and costs of £620. Also ordered to undertake 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

SUSANNAH LEIGH JENKINS, 44, of Abbey Mews, Netley Abbey, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £400. Also disqualified from driving conditionally for 16 months.

MONOJ MUKHERJEE, 41, of Verona Road, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £850, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £600. Also disqualified from driving conditionally for 12 months.

DAVID PHILP, 57, of Poole Road, Woolston. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. Incident was racially aggravated. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Jason Darrell Hughes, 33, of Millais Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to harassment. Handed a restraining order, £600 fine, £400 costs, £255.20 compensation order, and £60 victim services surcharge.

Maciej Mariusz Sulecki, 23, of Darwin Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing a drill. Given a community order with requirement to do 150 hours of unpaid work, £85 costs, and £85 victim services surcharge. Also pleaded guilty to having an offensive weapon in a public place, and stealing sunglasses and two sat navs. Community order made.

Kerry Zabiela, 31, of Bursledon Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing goods valued at £100 from the Co-op. Handed a community order, and must pay £100 compensation.
