A SOUTHAMPTON youngster put her talent to good use and raised money for charity.
Lucy Allen organised a live concert in aid of the NSPCC and raised more than £115.
The Oasis Academy Lordshill pupil played in front of a live audience and lined up her peers to perform as well.
Featuring alongside Lucy were talented pupils Alisha Morgan, Toni-Ann Mdhluli, Alyson Swanborough, Tia Conti, Bailey Harcourt, Andrea De La Rosa, Perisa Cunningham and Ellie Callaway.
Having been part of an NSPCC group for two years, Lucy said: “We are a group of young people who help the charity improve their services.
“We are all good friends and can talk about anything affecting us.
"It has meant a lot to organise this concert to highlight the importance of the charity, their work and to raise money for them.
“Thank you to everyone who was involved in helping make this such a success.”
Head teacher Rob Forder said he was “extremely proud” of Lucy’s achievements
She also recently raised more than £200 for Red Cross UK solidarity.
