RETAIL magnate Theo Paphitis paid a visit to a Southampton university yesterday.
The businessman and former Dragons’ Den Star was given a tour of Southampton Solent’s sports science and performance facilities.
Staff and students took to social media to tweet about his visit.
The university’s head of sport science and performance, Adam Hawkey said on Twitter: “Pleasure to show Theo Paphitis around our sport science and performance labs.”
The businessman, who is said to be worth £280m, was also spotted by students during his tour.
A spokesperson for the university said: “Theo Paphitis is one of the university’s honourary doctorates and regularly visits the university to speak with staff and students.”
