IT IS a special week for the Daily Echo Camera Club as the number of members reached 2,000.
As always, they’ve been out in force, taking a variety of wonderful images – a selection of which can be seen here.
One shows a pair of graceful swans enjoying a beautiful day on the fishing lake in Southampton Common, while another shows a pigeon performing a difficult balancing act on a precarious looking branch.
Aside from the birds is a picture of corn fields being harvested on a bright day in Farley Mount, a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed squirrel on frosty grass in East Wellow and Snowdrops outside All Saints Church in Hursley
Pictures submitted are regularly published in the Daily Echo and in galleries on dailyecho.co.uk.
We welcome submissions on virtually any topic or theme, and joining the group is easy and free.
