THESE are the men officers want to speak to after two robberies within hours of each other in Southampton.

Police are appealing for information after two men entered One Stop, on Park Road, Freemantle, just after 5pm on Sunday 18 February.

It was reported they threatened staff and demanded money.

One of the men indicated he had a gun, however no weapon was seen.

The pair fled before they managed to steal anything.

Later that evening, at 8.44pm police received a report of another robbery in Shirley.

Again, the men had threatened the staff and demanded money from the till, claiming they had a gun.

The staff handed over £100 and the men left, no-one was injured.

Officers are linking both reports.

Yesterday (Tuesday 20 February), Hampshire Constabulary arrested two men aged 51 and 46-years-old from Southampton, and a third man aged 30-years-old from Totton, on suspicion of robbery as part of their investigation.

They have since been released from police custody but remain under investigation.
