Armed police were dispatched to a convenience store this morning after a knife-point robbery.
The Central Convenience Store in Spring Lane, Bishopstoke was raided, with armed police officers and dog units being dispatched.
Police say that one man has been arrested and is currently in custody.
The robbery took place at 9.15am, and one staff member said they were left traumatised.
He said: “It is obviously very difficult for the staff, but fortunately no-one was injured or anything.
“It has left us traumatised.”
The staff member added that the store remained open.
It comes after two female employees at a Co-Op store in Nursling were confronted by a group of masked men when they were opening up.
The raiders entered the store and threatened staff with crowbars, making off with £5,000 cash and £12,000 worth of cigarettes.
