ONE lane of the M3 is closed due to an emergency pothole repair.
And county road bosses say the motorway has now "ground to a halt".
Highways England contractors have closed lane one of the northbound M3, between junction 6 and 5, near Basingstoke.

ROMANSE, Hampshire's traffic alert system, says "traffic has ground to a halt" on the northbound carriageway - with drivers facing a 20 minute delay.
According to ROMANSE, the traffic is "building".
UPDATE: The repair to the road has been completed and traffic has now cleared.
