POLICE have launched a hunt for a robber who threatened Tesco staff with a knife before fleeing with cash.
Officers say a masked man entered the Tesco Express store in Springvale Road, Winchester between 10.40pm and 10.50pm on Wednesday (March 7) and threatened two workers with a large blade.
The man, described as black, 6ft 5in tall, of large build and between 30-40 years old, then fled the store with cash from the till.
Police are now appealing for anyone who was in the shop after 10.30pm or saw any vehicles parked outside the store at that time to call 101 quoting reference '44180087476', or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
