Fly Away Peter will be performing at The Foyer Sessions at The Point tomorrow at 7.30pm.

Based in Winchester, Fly Away Peter are tellers of stories and collectors of artistic friends. Performing unplugged and acoustic where possible, Flis (vocals, guitar), Joe (guitar, backing vocals) and Phil (bass, backing vocals) live somewhere between folk tales and anthems.

Through powerful vocals and cleverly worked guitar, Fly Away Peter want to take you on a journey – with each song being part of a larger story.

Fly Away Peter with Friends is a new enterprise created by the band alongside local poet and host, S.M. Ripper, and contemporary drip and street artist, photographer and poet, RKP. As a way to support and encourage collaboration between all types of performing artists, the team run monthly afternoon sessions at The Railway in Winchester and are very excited about taking the ethos with them when gigging around the south (and beyond) over the coming year.

The Foyer Sessions, launched in 2017, programmes some of the region’s most exciting new musical voices to perform acoustic sets to local audiences at an affordable price.Booking is essential for all of the foyer sessions, visit: www.thepointeastleigh.co.uk.
