TRIBUTES have been paid to a "kind and sensitive" former Cantell pupil involved in a fatal motorbike crash.

George Howell, 27, died following a crash on Thomas Lewis Way, Southampton.

Paramedics rushed to the scene, near to St Denys station.

But Mr Howell, who was riding a red Suzuki motorbike at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tributes have now been paid to Mr Howell, who lived in Bullar Road, Bitterne.

His family say the former Cantell school pupil "lived in the moment".

In a statement, they said: "He embraced life, worked hard and loved friends and family.

“He was sensitive, kind, honest and funny.

"He was greatly loved and will be missed by many."

Police say the crash took place at 11.54pm on Friday, March 16.

Officers say the collision involved Mr Howell’s red Suzuki motorbike and a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
