1 In Ringwood...

An abundance of wildlife can be seen at Liberty's Owl, Raptor and Reptile Park, situated in the Hampshire countryside. A variety of eagles, hawks and owls are on display, as well as some more exotic creatures such as iguanas, bearded dragons, pythons, scorpions and tarantulas, ensuring there is something to fascinate everyone. Flying displays show off the birds' remarkable training, and a choice of experience days allows visitors to get a more personal look into the animals' lives. Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre is named after Liberty, an Alaskan Bald Eagle, one of the many birds of prey that is on display at the Centre, which is involved in many breeding and conservation projects.

Explore Furzey Garden’s hidden secrets in this enchanting informal woodland garden in the New Forest. With relaxing woodland walks, gorgeous trees & shrubs, stunning views and a fascinating history – Furzey Gardens is a beautiful day out for the whole family. The gardens offer a lovely variety of sights and sounds. The cottage, situated by the garden's entrance, was built around 1560 and is bursting with history and shows what life was like living in the charming little cottage. For children there is a play area and fairy doors to hunt for.

As well as filling its seasonal department with spectacular Easter-themed products, John Lewis Southampton will host a series of fun and creative events for all the family this weekend. including an Egg-ceptional Easter Bunny Hunt, Bunny Bunting crafting workshop, face painting and food and drink tastings. The Bunny Bunting demo will take place in the Haberdashery department from 10am-4pm whilst face painting is in Childrenswear at the same times. Storytelling sessions are at 11.30am, 2pm and 4pm in Furniture and to take part in the find the Bunny Hunt - pick up an entry form at any till point.

Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum is holding its first event of 2018 on Sunday when they invite people to take part in their Spring Craft Fair & Fun Dog Show.

Be amazed at the authentic sights, sounds and smells of the last steam-driven Victorian brickworks in the UK. Make your own brick, get close to the massive brick making machines and see how the men used to run 15 miles a day in the big drying sheds.

The special craft market will have unusual Easter gifts and the dog show will take place in the main courtyard so get the grooming kit out and see if your pooch wins a prize. Entry prices include both the museum and the craft fair.

With a programme of popular favourites from the world of opera, film and TV performed by the full WNO Orchestra and singers – plus an animal theme, this is a perfect way to introduce all the family to opera and classical music. Solent Sky Museum tells the story of Solent aviation through the themes that defined aeronautical development in Britain and around the world. The Solent region played an enormous part in these developments, far out of proportion to the areas small geographic size.

This interesting museum has a fantastic collection of aeroplanes and is concerned with the development of the aviation and aircraft manufacturing companies in the Solent area over the past century. Children will love being able to sit in the planes, playing with the buttons and levers and imagining what it would have been like to have flown in them.

Farcical antics ensue in this fabulous Cole Porter musical.

Footlights Youth Theatre have been operating for 17 years and produce two full-scale productions annually, often involving a cast of over 50.
