A GANG threatened a cyclist and tried to steal his bike before fleeing.
The 40-year-old victim was cycling on Highfield Road, Lymington, when he was approached by three men.
At about 6.25pm on Sunday, March 25, One of the gang demanded that he hand over his bike and threatened to assault him.
The victim then took out his phone to call police and the group fled.
Police say two of the group were white men who were about five feet and ten inches tall.
The other member of the group was described as black, and wore a black top with the hood up.
All three were described as looking about 17 or 18 years old.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "Did you see the incident, or three people acting suspiciously in the area at this time?
"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44180111304, or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
