A SOUTHAMPTON food bank has issued an urgent appeal.
Southampton City Mission says it is short of tinned meat supplies.
Supplies can be delivered to Above Bar Church on Mondays from 10am to 3pm, St Mary's Church in Sholing on Tuesdays from 10am to 3pm, the Old Chemist on Bitterne Triangle on Wednesdays from 10am to 3pm, Swaythling Methodist Church on Thursdays from 10am to 3pm and Lord's Hill Church from 10am to 3pm.
A clothes bank is run from Ascension Church in Bitterne Park from 10am to 3pm every Wednesday.
Organisers also say they are in need of tinned potatoes, mixed veg , tinned rice pudding and custard, jars of pasta sauce, and coffee
