SOUTHAMPTON'S The Voice semi-finalist, Donel Mangena is preparing to sing his heart out at this week’s semi-finals to win over the British public.
The talented youngster first wowed the judges on The Voice UK as he performed Major Lazer's Cold Water in the blind audition round.
All four judges turned around for Donel but it was his grandmother Nita who stole the show with her legendary dance moves.
Last week the Barton Peveril College teen, who went to St George school, had judge Will.I.Am “on the edge of his seat” throughout his rendition of Bruno Mars’ Finesse.
The 16-year-old from Woolston will battle it out for a place in the final against 7 other semi-finalists.
Only four acts can progress to the final, which is decided by the viewing public.
